Varese, 27 gennaio 1947 – ha inizio l’avventura.

Nasce la SANDRO MENTASTI INDUSTRIA GOMMA fondata dal Sig. Sandro Mentasti che reduce dalla

seconda guerra mondiale inizia a produrre, nella cantina di casa, camere d'aria per auto e moto, articoli molto

richiesti nell'Italia del dopoguerra che vede aumentare di giorno in giorno il fenomeno della motorizzazione.

L’iniziale attività artigianale si evolve ed in breve tempo diventa industriale trasferendosi in una nuova sede

ed operando con moderni impianti di produzione.

Oggi la SANDRO MENTASTI Srl è una realtà che esporta in tutti i continenti nei più svariati settori industriali

privilegiando il mercato motociclistico offrendo migliaia di articoli che si concretizzano negli oltre 6.000

stampi esistenti in Fabbrica.

Il carattere familiare del management, giunto alla terza generazione, permette di curare al massimo l’alta

qualità dei prodotti, da sempre principio ispiratore dell’azienda che con il costante e continuo aggiorna-

mento tecnologico unito all'elevato grado delle capacità professionali dei Collaboratori, vero patrimonio

SANDRO MENTASTI INDUSTRIA GOMMA was founded by Mr. Sandro Mentasti, who began manufacturing

inner tubes for cars and motorcycles in the basement of his house after the end of WWII. In the period

following the war, there was a rapid increase in the number of motor vehicles on the roads and a corresponding

huge demand for inner tubes.

This initial production rapidly developed into an industrial activity and was quickly relocated to a new site.

Here, the product was developed using modern manufacturing machinery and plant.

These days, SANDRO MENTASTI Srl exports worldwide to a broad variety of industrial sectors, but specialises

in the motorcycle market.We offer thousands of articles produced from over 6,000 moulds collected at the

factory over the years.

Sandro Mentasti srl remains a family business, now third generation.This ensures the products are of the

highest quality, a characteristic which has always been at the forefront of the Company’s ethics. Using the
